283bhsl

I just purchased a 2020 Kodiak 283BHSL and pick it up next Wednesday. I wanted to get TV for it but I'm not sure what size to get. For anyone that has this model, what's the biggest size that will fit in the space? The place I bought it from has a 360 video tool that lets you measure and I'm guessing 43" but wanted to see if anyone that has one has any input? Thanks!

I don't have the exact model but I easily put a 42" wall mounted TV in mine. A 50" might not fit.

You really need to find somebody who measured the area and has been in that specific model. The reason as we all know is a 55" might "fit" but oops, something won't open or close, or you will bump into it every time you go in and out, etc.,

We have a 42" and would like as large as we could get in ours, but it would be a 50" at best and that is a 50" with little to no cabinet, ALL SCREEN! So you see it can also depend on the exact model of TV also. All TV's are not the same total measurement in the same sizes.

No TV as Standard Equipment?

We picked up our 2020 Kodiak in March and it came with a TV. 32 inch I just looked at the brochure for your Kodiak. You definitely need to measure the "Ward/TV cab" area as it does not look very large on Dutchmen's website. I'd talk to your dealer before buying a TV, see what size they recommend. You also need to have one that will withstand the vibration of travel, not all TVs will. Best to go with one designed for a trailer in my opinion. Also, you will need some way to anchor the TV to the cabinet or wall to keep it from swinging around; ours has a strap to secure it to the wall. Also, check the mount, is there one already in the trailer? Dutchmen site says there is a standard mount on the exterior, be sure to check that out.
