242BHSL grey & black tank question

Greetings all,
First time trailer owner here, my wife and I took delivery of our 242BHSL earlier this month and are loving it. Everything is going well, but I am a little confused by the "Convenience Center" (see attached). It shows two each of the black and grey water tanks, but I am guessing I have only one of each. I suspect the level indicator is a generic part, and that the 2nd tank doesn't apply to us (it does say "TANKS VARY BY MODEL" after all). I have only one sewer outlet and there's no way to "switch" tanks that I have seen, but for what it's worth the tech who gave me the walk through when I picked it up said I had two each and I could imagine the bathroom draining into a separate grey tank than the kitchen.
Any thoughts?

After looking over your floorplan, I'd say you probably have one black tank and one grey tank. As you said, the control panel is generic to different models so the other tank indicators are superfluous for your rig.
Outside you should see one sewer outlet fed by two gate valves, one for grey and one for black. It may take a bit of looking around for both valves.

Thank you for the reply, this helps very much indeed. As an aside, another thing that contributed to my confusion was how quickly my 39 gallon grey tank went to 2/3 full per the indicator. Using 5 gallon buckets of water I determined it shows 2/3 full with only 10 gallons of water, and shows Full at 30 gallons.

Tank level gauges are never accurate. I haven't checked mine since the first trip with my new camper. After a few trips you'll find they're not a necessity.

That's a fact as you've discovered already.

You basically have two choices... live with the notoriously inaccurate stock system or install something like a SeeLevel system.

I agree your RV probably only has a single black and gray tank. They do use a lot of generic parts in the RV industry to keep costs down.

Same model here. That control panel is universal and they also use it on larger models with multiple tanks.

Your model only has one grey water and one black water tank.
