Is anyone able to confirm that when the slide is open it has a gap on the inside? Mine seems to be open all the way, but there are still a few inches where the slide doesn't touch the back wall of my trailer. I asked the salesman about it and he said that's normal and allows access to the cables if needed. Wanted to see if anyone else with a Kodiak has the same thing.

I have a 300 hbsl,, I never analyzed it but I can stick my fingers behind my trim boards... after we bought, I found this site and began the panic with the slides, but the video to lube it all and I clean the slides ( also tightened the slide screws when it was out on all my slides,, why they loose, I can only imagine they use the wrong plywood,, cant think of it this Am... anyhow,,check your seals outside and good to go, I did have the slide cut my AC lines as it moved in and out and they laid the cable on the frame wrong..
