1996 Aerolite 21rdb

I just bought my first camper and I need to replace the back wall. The bedroom is on the left and the bathroom on the right. Would it be a good or bad idea to open the back exterior covering? I did discover that one of the red lights at the top of the back wasn't anchored to anything and pulled right out. Any tips are appreciated. Oh. The floor has soft spots too so maybe the water ran down the wall and along the floor???
