The museum in Cody is well worth the time.

I love the Pismo Beach area. Bought my Voltage just south of that area.

Just curious if any of you guys are going to Sturgis this year, and if so, where you staying? I'd enjoy meeting and putting some faces with the names. We'll be heading out the 29th and staying to the end of the rally at Katmandu Campground. Long time to stay in Sturgis, as after 17 years, three days is more than enough, however it will be a good shakedown for final warranty issues before we "full time" it for the winter.

We're heading to Sturgis on the 28th and leaving on the 3rd. Was late getting reservations, so we're at the KOA Mount Rushmore. In the heart of the riding, but a little removed from the party.

Mt. Rushmore KOA is a great place to stay. Like you said right in the middle of the riding area of the Black Hills.

Was there last year. Black Hills that is not at rally time. Still lots of bikes around.

Drop me a line while you're out (rusty800@gmail.com), I'll buy you a beverage. Have an F350 and 3990 also. Hope to see you out there.
Rusty

Thanks for that review Desert Rat. We're really jazzed about this trip. I have two brothers that also ride, but we've never been to Sturgis at the same time. The Voltage has made it possible for us all to get together this time with our wives. We'll have a full house and a blast!

Rusty, we'll certainly make an effort to hook up with you. I greatly appreciate you reaching out to this RV rookie. I'd love to compare notes on the 3990 and the F350.

Just got back from a weekend at Wisconsin Dells. A 616 mile round trip. That was for my nieces birthday party. Soon were off to Tahquamenon Falls State Park. 95% of our trips are weekends only and usually close to home, as both of us work.

Just got back to our camp site at Columbia Falls RV Park. Wife and I rode the Going to the sun road in Glacier NP. We went on my scooter.

Getting ready to head to Charleston, SC for 2 weeks Not exactly the best place to camp in the summertime. Have to babysit a project for two weeks on and two weeks off. Might manage to get some real camping in on the weekends.
