I hope campground reviews are welcome here...

We've just returned from a trip to the North Shore and stayed at a quiet and very clean campground called Penmarallter Campsite. Located about 10 miles north of Duluth, it is a family owned and operated business. The area is extremely clean and well kept by husband and wife. There are full hook ups available, accept full season stays and has wifi available within close proximity of the house/office. Although we do not use the bathhouse, we checked it out. It is always clean and well kept. Penmarallter Is not located on the water, but sits along Scenic Drive and conveniently close to lots of area attractions. Beautiful area!

Thanks for the review. My wife is from Duluth. We are heading up from North Texas at the end of July and are looking for options to stay in the Duluth area. We past some of those campgrounds on the scenic byway last summer. Glad to hear they are nice. Also looking at Indian River over by the Zoo. Always looking to meet new people back home. We will be posting pics from our trip.

I'm sorry I don't have photos. It didn't cross my mind to take any. I will do better next time.
