Suggestions? East to West - Northerly Route

Nice… and yeah, I can’t believe the great weather we’ve had this past week… especially considering that the week prior we were a good 20-degrees cooler, with light snow in the higher elevations. But this past week has been gorgeous, with temps at 70 or above everyday.

Coinciding with this, they just re-opened the Northeast Entrance Rd in Yellowstone last weekend… and I spent Monday, Tuesday, and Thursday there in the Lamar Valley myself. Beautiful clear skies, no smoke, no haze… the fall colors are in full bloom… and the valley was filled with Bison. (some photos below)

But yeah, things are gonna change Sunday… snow expected, with a high of 38. Brrrrr!!

Anyway, glad your trip has been going great… and considering the good weather, sorry for any trepidation or concerns I may have caused you.

I didn't know that they had re-opened the north-east entrance, unfortunately! But we did see most of the park and did see quite a few bison, elk, and of course a grizzly! My wife wanted me to send her thanks to you, she was very happy with the trip! No worries about any trepidation, in all reality it made me speed up the pace of the trip which if I hadn't we would be stuck in snow this coming week! As it was, it was perfect, thank you!
