Thanks! We have Mountwood Park even closer to home.

I feel very fortunate to live in such a great area for the outdoors. I can access the North Bend Rail Trail at the Parkersburg end a few miles from my house.

I live in a former mid 20th century campground site on the Little Kanawha River. Later, the property was sold and the owners put up a fishing cabin on the site, which is now my house year round. So, I don't really camp to get away as it would be hard to find a better place than where I live. The picture is taken from my bedroom window with the river just over the hill.
Instead, I intend to camp where we can explore the surrounding area. My husband has health issues and I have set up the TT to be where we can just hook up and go. It is so much easier to have the oxygen and other things he needs ready in the TT before we leave and I don't have to haul medical stuff in and out of a motel room.
