Has anyone ever camp near New Orleans? We are considering a weekend getaway this weekend to there and was wondering if anyone had any recommendations?

Thom, We stayed at The French Quarter RV Resort, 2 years ago, price is a little high, we wanted to be within walking distance, so it was OK, clean, Check it out on the web.....We had our 37ft camper then, our 43ft will not fit? There is also a KOA close by

We stayed at the KOA just west of NOLA a few years ago. good location, clean and Quiet.

Thanks for the inputs. My wife is changing her mind now she wants to stay closer to the house because it's the first weekend we would be leaving our 17 year old Home Alone. So now we are looking at either Mobile Alabama or Pensacola area.
