Alright all you army vets, I know there has to be someone who knows a great spot around FLW, preferably very near St. Robert. I am in the early stages of planning a trip for my grandsons birthday in St. Robert in November (yes November!). A google search provides very limited results and even the Pulaski County Tours development's website doesn't list anything.... MWR doesn't even show a camp ground on their web page! The lake of the Ozark is too far, I won't have a car so the closer to St. Robert the better.

All I can remember about "Fort Lost in the woods" is that
Rose's Chicken Shack is Off limits
That was my first article 15, Damn !

Later on ( 1985 or so, civilian life )
I discovered it was located in Texas County Missouri and they had the largest Population of wild turkeys in the US.
