Good day my fellow RV'ers. I have come from the Truck Camper side of RV. I'm here to thank you all for a site I'm sure we will learn a thing or two. I am not new to this and as I get to get to know the site, it will be a smooth transition. Quick background check; I have had 4 campers and three trucks. I am now going 5th wheel for something different as I and the "BOSS" wanted something with more room and closer to the ground. I have the truck that can do it all...Dodge Dually, Cummins Diesel HO. Nuff said for now. Got a good hitch and getting an older Dutchman just to get our feet wet...thanks for having me!!

Welcome to the forum.

A 5er is just an over sized camper on wheels. The RV systems are pretty much the same, just scaled to the size of the rig.

Lots of ideas on the forums, to help you lighten you wallett.
