New need help

So I have a 26' 99 dutchman (not 5th wheel) and I'm wanting to put in a manual bypass switch for the fridge so it doesn't use the gas unless I want it too, I've attached a picture I just need to know where to make the connection, what gage wire is recommended and fuse size, I've tried looking on youtube and haven't found anything yet so any info will help

Doesn’t the fridge already have a switch for that setting?

It auto switches to gas when it's in the system, I can't find a manual switch like the hot water heater, unless I've missed it somewhere

What’s the model number of your fridge?

The fridge in my aspen trail will run on 120 volt ac when plugged in. In e the absence of ac power it reverts to propane. simply unplugging the power cord from AC causes the fridge to operate on gas.
Does that answer your question??

Mine had a switch on the front, just below the freezer that switched to off/auto/gas

Mine is a Norcold and only has an on off switch. Behind the vented fridge cover on the outside of the trailer, is an outlet which the fridge is plugged in to. When on 120 volt power the fridge will not revert to propane.

My plan is to install an extension, with an conveniently mounted wall mounted switch to shut off the 120 volt power to the fridge when I want it to run on propane.

This is for when I am boondocking with power from my generator.
Until I do, Its easy enough to just remove the outdoor cover and just unplug the fridge.

Safe travels and all the best.

Have you thought of using one of these?
