Hi,, We own the same trailer,, and our vents are shot,, we are replacing, I am thinking of doing the Max Vent... how did that install go with yours?> and do you like them? thanks Rich
Installing the covers over the 3 vents was very easy. I would suggest that when you are working on the roof, that you place a tarp down on the roof and a piece of plywood on top of the tarp so that you do not rip or tear the roofing material. It also distributes your weight better. The covers were very easy to install following the directions provided. We picked them up at the CW near Hanover,PA.
thanks, , will probably get them in a few months,,, after the covers come,, thanks for the advice on the board and tarp,, I dont know if the roof will hold my weight so wife will try it, if not I will have to go from there ( son in laws, live nearby but are not that bright )
I hear you on the weight... at 285 myself, I have my son crawl up on the roof to inspect it several times a year while I am on a ladder inspecting it as well. I'm making a piece of 2'x4' plywood that will have carpet on the bottom so that I can place that on the roof when I really need to get up on the roof.
