Stumbled on this forum the other day, thought I would join. We bought a '12 Denali 262rlx 5r last year. Will look thru the threads and see what y'al have to say. Looking forward to learning more from y'all and offering any ideas I may have.

Greetings Tahoemc from Canada, hoping you get many fine years of enjoyment out of that new toy.

Thanks for the welcome Kayakcrazy. We are enjoying it so far, a few problems, but typical with just about any RV.

See your in Regina. I had relatives (no longer living) southeast of you in Gravelbourg. Had a chance to visit several years ago.

Did you tour the Catholic Church when you were in Gravelbourg - it's very beautiful? My DW and I have done Staycations here in Saskatchewan for many years (go on day trips to locations site seeing and home before bedtime). We only have one rule - can't eat at a chain restaurant. We've taken in a ton of nature, history and art within our province and have enjoyed many home cooked meals in the small towns we have visited. We did Gravelbourg in 2010 and really enjoyed ourselves. We are heading back again in that direction soon as there are Petroglyphs (also called rock engravings) dating back 8000 years south west of there. My wife has 34 months left until she retires and hopefully we can tour your state in our travels.

Yes, I do recall the church being very nice. My grandmothers brother, who was 95 at the time, took us on a driving tour. They had just opened the independent/assisted living facility on the west end of town. As we drive by, he just mutters "thats where the old people live" LOL, that tour as you can imagine, was a bit scary with him driving.

I agree with dining, go where the locals dine. As I got tired from eating leftovers with the relatives, I frequented the Wylee Coyote during my short 5-day visit.

Only 16 months and 10 days til we both retire, but heck, whose counting????
