Hello! super excited to finally join the club!

Hello all, we just got our first RV & were super excited! We love camping & for years we've been tenters. However, our friend that owned an older RV invited us to stay with them to "camp"... we've been hooked since then. Our daughter is in love with her new room...she loves the bunkbeds. We got the 2014 Kodiak 300BHSL. We'll be taking her out on her maiden voyage this weekend. I'll post pictures. Any advice for new RV owners?

Welcome to the board. Take some extra time on your first trip to get familiar with your rigs features and systems. You'll get more comfortable with them over time. Don't for get the sqeeter spray

Thank you Janet H. Yep we use doterra oils, they work better than most sprays without the chemucals, so I make our own 'sqeeter spray' lol unfortunately both my daughter & I are prone to bug bites & react badly to it. Thanks again...

Welcome aboard and congrats! This is the best family-bonding system ever! (except for going to church together!)
Get a few comfortable, easy sites under your belt, then branch out. Learn to appreciate the difference between: A luxury RV park, a KOA, a private campground, a state park, a county park, and "lost in the woods!" Each type of spot has its advantages and disadvantages. We love them all, the secret is knowing what to expect! Enjoy!
