Smile Hello from the great white north!!

Hi All!!

I am James, and live in Ontario Canada. Brrr.. it's a cold month here..That is why I'm looking forward to working on my new project this spring.

My "new to me" RV is a 1993 Dutchmen 260 Classic. You can put your finger right through the interior walls under 3 windows. I fancy myself a bit of a handyman, so I hope I'm up to the challenge.

Never went camping as a kid, but really want my 3 girls to experience it. Most friends have fond memories of their summer trips.

Anyhow, I would like to learn from others experiences here, and pick up some ideas before I start tearing my camper apart.

Cheers!!

James

welcome James!

Just a word of warning, stay away from the "show us your mods" thread, it will cost you lots of money!

I have a new Voltage, but I have worked a few campers, I'm working on a truck camper right now that my wife backed into my Waverunner trailer From what you have posted, I would try and locate, where the water is coming in first, since the wall is so easy to push thru…..The biggest trouble you will have is finding parts the same to replace…if you don't mind, you can get replacement parts for the wall at any lumber store, make sure you use the same length screws because you don't want to go thru the outer wall. Sometimes a dealer can order some items? Most walls are very thin to save weight. Good Luck
