Hello from KC - 2014 Voltage 3970 TH

Hello everyone. Jeff and Cathy from Kansas City (Go Royals!!! - big Game 2 playoff game today!). We picked up our '14 Dutchmen Voltage 3970 early this spring, replacing Keystone Alpine fifth wheel. Love the toyhauler - we haul two HDs almost everywhere we go.
Thanks for setting up the forum and for all of the great ideas and help. Looking forward to getting to know a few people.

J

Thanks for the welcome Mike / DesertRat. I've been lurking for awhile and have learned a few things and realized I am having some of the same experiences others are experiencing, so thought I'd join. We'll be heading your way in January, to Palm Desert, to spend the winter near the oldest son, a career Marine now stationed at Pendleton.

Mike, we have an extended (3 month) reservation at Emerald Desert RV Park in Palm Desert. It'll be our first time out there, the son's been stationed overseas for many years and just returned stateside this summer.

I know right where that RV park is. Have you been down here before? Are you bring your HD along? Lots of nice riding areas here. You son will also be just a couple of hours away.

We haven't been your way before, but the park appears nice, so I'm hoping it's a place we can comfortably settle into for a few months. Close to the son...but not too close, he'll be living in Temecula while stationed at Pendleton. And, yes, we're bringing both HDs (wife rides as well). We're looking forward to good winter riding in the desert.

Hi Jeff. We have a cyclone 4000 now and have a voltage 3970 on order. We also take our road glide nearly everywhere we go. We live here in the Blue Ridge Mountains of North Carolina. ( straight north of Charlotte about an hour and a half )... If you get out this way let me know I'll show you some cool rides !
