Hello and Question on Mattress Replacement

Hello. I am a brand new member of Dutchmen Owners. We brought a used 2010 Kodiak 214 Hybrid and it is in excellent condition. However, we are searching for replacement mattresses or ideas on how to improve our sleep quality. Does anyone have suggestions for me? Thank you and I look forward to learning more about these forums.

We bought a 4" memory foam mattress topper and it helped a lot.

Topper goes a long way to making the bed more comfortable. We had to add some upholstery foam at the top to extend the bed length too. The bottom fitted sheet and the topper hold it in place.

If the original mattress is in good condition and you could sleep on it and get a good rest, then a memory foam topper will do it.

The mattress in our rig was so bad that we just junked it and bought an 8" foam mattress, made up of 3 layers, 4" high density foam, 2" medium density foam, with the top 2" being memory foam.

We like it so much that when they go on sale again we'll be replacing the mattress on our bed at home with on.

Seems the 4" memory foam is the peoples choice. We did it too, right over the factory mattress.
