Greetings from Phoenix!

Hello all!

My name is Andy and I am a rookie RV owner. To help motivate us getting out of the dreaded Phoenix summer heat, we purchased a 2016 Kodiak Ultimate 295THBS! My family and I are super excited to start using it!

Does any one have any suggestions about what I should start purchasing to help in my maiden voyage (i.e. aftermarket gear/supplies)?

Also, can anyone suggest a good RV Campground in northern Arizona that has electric hook-ups?

Thanks to all and I look forward to "meeting" everyone!

Andy

Hello Andy. Welcome to the site. I am a Phoenix native as well, but currently stuck in San Diego for work. Should be back in Phoenix by the end of summer hopefully. Have no recommendations for camping up North, but check around various places....another source could be the website IRV2.com. They have some good information and links to help get you started.

You are going to need lots of things, kitchen set up, silverware, dishes etc etc
probably towel racks in bath, kitchen. There are some good checklists on the internet. Do some google type searching. Think about move into an apartment. What would take along to live.

Take your time and do not over buy stuff. Thrift stores are good for "stocking" an RV

And Welcome to the forum and RV fun.

Some of the campgrounds in Northern Arizona that we have enjoyed are the Wahweap RV & Campground in Page ( great views of Lake Powell), Grand Canyon Railway RV Park in Williams ( about an hour from the Grand Canyon), and Point of Rocks Campground in Prescott ( not to far from the historic Whiskey Row)
