Talking Finally off the ground!

Greetings from northern Maryland!

This past weekend, my husband and I FINALLY were able to pick up the Coleman travel trailer we had ordered back in the beginning of February! There was some confusion when it got to our nearby Camping World....as we ordered a 2014 CTS16QB, but they built us a 2015 model...and the number changed to CM16FBS!!! It was the same layout, pretty much same everything....except it was WAY nicer!!! Dark wood instead of light...the plain cushions we thought were coming were actually decorated and pretty. Even the exterior looked nicer to us.

Needless to say, we are well PLEASED!!! Not being able to actually go to a campground to give it a test this past weekend, we "camped" in our driveway. We were hooked up to power, used the propane, checked everything....except for the toilet...we left it alone for now and just ran in the house if needed! heheheee

We have our first camping trip in it on May 9-11th! We're so excited! This will be the first time EVER that our 40+ year old butts are up off of the ground when camping!!!

Congratulations to the Taylor's for moving up the ladder in the Rv world. You'll enjoy the move up, but if you're anything like me, you'll enjoy the occasional weekend back in the tent. Enjoy your new rig.

Thanks! And yes, you WILL find us under the stars in the tent here and there....but for now we are super excited to be "living it up" in the big toy! Today, I lay in it and read for a while while it was raining! hahahaaa (it quickly turned into a nap with my dog curled up next to me!)

Welcome to the RV life style. The more you use it the more tenting will be something you talk about being in the past.

HAHA! Thanks guys! My husband is in surgery right now and will be laid up for the better part of a week...but we're heading out on the 9th for it's maiden camping trip to the Pinebarrens in NJ. (we go every year in may...only this time there will be no fussing with tents, tarps, stakes, etc!!!)

(**yah, I sound horrible...."my husband's in surgery...what should I do now??? Oh, I'll go post on the Dutchman Owner's Forum!!!") hahahaaaaaa He's fine.

Well you've discovered what we all have. The new trailer takes priority over everything. Besides, he's with a doctor and a bunch of nurses, he'll be fine. Lol

Welcome Amigos!!
You made me smile, when we got ours I spent the first night in it out on the driveway-(my bride said she would trust my judgement and stayed in the house!). She does love it and we had 32 nights in it the first year!
We are looking forward to our next trip!

HAHAHAAAAAAA!!! They released him this afternoon and he's now comfortably on the couch. Now for the healing, so we can get to our camping destination on the 9th!

I'm glad she likes it! I would've been much too jealous to let him sleep alone in it the first night!!! hahahaaa
