Dutchmen Rubicon 2900

My wife and I are new to RV'ing and within a few days will be the hopefully proud new owners of a 2013 Rubicon 2900.

Plans are we will be full timers by the end of our current lease June 2013 so we have a couple of months to get downsized and accustom to the full timer's life style.

We are originally from Northern Michigan, Traverse City, East Jordan area but have been calling Texas home for over 17 years now, currently reside in Buda Texas.

As soon as we get our toy TH down here next week or so our new address will be Bastrop Texas.

My profession is Computer Systems specialist for the Department of Veteran's Affairs. Providing Monitoring/Security expertise for our veterans web sites and health data. Love to work with and mess with computers. Hope to continue to share that hobby with others on the road.

My wife Darlene's full time job is taking care of me.
She loves knitting, gardening, reading. We both consider ourselves FreeThinkers.

I am fortunate to be able to work remotely so we are looking forward to doing lots of traveling.

We also enjoy motorcycle riding for pleasure and are looking forward to being able to haul our 2000 HD Dyna Super Glide Super with us all over the country.

We are new to the community and looking forward to learning lots from others that have been down the road so to speak.

So guess I've spilled it so now everyone knows the highlights.

Welcome to the forum! We would like to go out full time after we retire. We'll have to wait a while for that. Post some pictures once you get your trailer. We would love to see it!
