'The dealer says', so much help there. As Arron suggested, get out the VOM and start checking voltages to and from the switch location.
If just the heater is out then a normal continuity check on...

Some have had problem with the recliners failing...

Some have had problem with the recliners failing to work due to the electrical plug pulling loose. I think the plug is under the recliner section but that's all I know.
