Looks good! Now all you need is a plug for the hole. How about a nice chrome electrical knockout plug? Or, you could go over to EcoWater Systems on La Linda Way and ask Christina if she has a plug...

You're right on about thin material there. I might add to your suggestion, if drilling with a hole saw perhaps a back up block behind the aluminum will give a nice clean hole and prevent blowing...
