Not much to worry about. I have the same refrigerator, set on #7 with outside temps in the high 90s and the lower unit stays around 43 degrees with normal opening.

If the refrigerator defaulted to LP then it wasn't getting AC from the generator which will operate the unit. Your air conditioner will run off the generator plus the microwave and TVs. Vacuum...
