Make sure your slideouts are right. If you don't feel they are correct, get them checked. I have the same mechanism you have and it failed miserably and almost was not able to move the slide back...

you want it to tilt downward a little for water runoff... Are the gaskets tight against the outside wall (on the inside) and evenly against the wall?
