If as you say you have the Curtis at the lowest setting raise it a couple of settings and raise the pin box on the fifth a couple of settings to raise the pin box height yet maintain the fifth level.

I can guarantee you that you will need more than 50' of turn radius at some point. I own a fifth and would never go into a campground with only that little turning radius. As for your pin box...
