Don't overdo it on the weight distribution --- you want the truck to squat just a bit or you will have too much weight transferring to the front of your truck and the back of your trailer.

The owner's manual "suggests" premium fuel when towing. I have used regular gas for thousands of miles, and then experimented with a tank of premium here and there --- its been really hard to tell...

I typically lock out 6th (as it rarely uses it anyway) as the torque and rpm just seem better in 5th for towing. I get better mpg in 5th than 6th too, as you are a bit higher in the torque curve....

You will LOVE the way the Ecoboost tows. It will climb hills in 4th gear at only 2,900 rpm that had every other engine I've towed with screaming at over 4,000 rpm. It tows more like a diesel.....very...
