Fact is my folks bought there first RV back in 61. It was a travel trailer but looked like a 5th wheel with the overhead bunk...

Well yes, I figured he was asking if it operated like the old 3-way frig unit. I did have one of those in my first tent trailer. When on 12v it cooled but ran the battery down real fast. :eek:

No it doesn't run on 12V in auto mode. In auto mode it runs on 110 or propane depending upon which is available. If both are it will default to 110 first over propane.
