Pirate writing. I didn't add a fuel filter, I added and electric fuel pump back at the tank. That pushes fuel forward to the Onan fuel pump at the Generator.

Ours is 5.5 Kw Onan and we can't...

blow it out and see if you get anything?

Might also look at the fuel line from the rear pump into the tank. ...

Jeff, I'd do some more looking first. Honestly, can't remember if the Onan pump has a filter between it and the carburetor...but that's where I would start.

The fuel pump you added at that back...

On mine, it was always code 6 or 61...which in the manual says is the Generator died with no command from the controller.

Without getting out all the Onan stuff...wonder what code 45...

If it had a lever arm and diaphragm bellows...it would be a positive displacement pump.

Make sense?
