Good post. I have only had my generator quit twice. Both time were driving through 100+ degree temperatures and spots in the road that were extremely bumpy. I like the thought of a second or backup...

Good luck with the fuel pump. Mine was acting similar to what you are describing. A new fuel pump fixed mine.
