If all else fails use a little Mortite Rope caulk..It is like clay is moldable and will stay in place , also is easily removed...

ScreenDoor Mod.

I installed Lexan in the inside groves on the screen door, used Velcro to hold the free ends in place. Looks great and now acts as a storm door. Much lighter and you can use AC..Bought 2 sheets in...
