Interesting thing is the Banks and S&B look the same, except for the logo on the scoop.

Have you done anything else besides the intake and exhaust?

I put an S&B on my 6.7l Cummins, with the air scoop. Not sure if they have the same setup for your Suburban, but the thing I like about the S&B is that it has a closed air box, so your not getting...
