Up sizing the tires does change everything. I have never found the need to go up in tire size on my truck. The trailer on the other hand I go for the largest tire I can fit into the wheel...

Check the door data plate, many trucks have two pressures for the rear tires. One for loaded and one for unloaded.

My Ram wants 45PSI light load and 75PSI heavy load.
