On my rig the low point drains are opposite to...
On my rig the low point drains are opposite to the side with the fresh water drain. The fresh water drain is located behind the steps which kind of get in the way when I want to remove the drain cap.

You may want to use a T-tap splice...
You may want to use a T-tap splice https://www.lowes.com/pd/Utilitech-20-Count-T-Tap-Wire-Connectors/999956682 to actually splice the repeater wires to the existing wiring.
