My slideout and lights inside camper do not work on battery alone. Only shore line. But my electric jack works on battery. Battery had full charge checked fuses but couldn’t find fuse to battery. They checked out fine.
How about all the other 12 VDC items?? Like
Radio?
Does the refrigerator work on Propane? It requires 12 VDC
Propane Space Heater? It requires 12 VDC
Water Heater? It requires 12 VDC
Electric awning??
Bathroom exhaust fan?
Control Panel indicator lites?

None of those work on battery. The electric jack does work. Everything works when you plug shore line.
There's a fuse or a circuit breaker close to the battery that feeds the RV's power system. The jack is not usually on that fuse (circuit breaker). have you tried to measure power coming past that breaker (usually mounted on the frame). Have you looked at the wiring diagram I posted to get an understanding of how the power is connected?
It would seem that your 12 VDC is not getting from the Battery to the Converter.
Do you have or can you use a Voltmeter?
You need to trace the 12 VDC from the battery to the back of the converter.
As franktafl mentioned there is one of these wired very close to the battery. Positive side. Start there.

I looked at diagram but wasn't quite understanding it. I did look for circuit breaker close to battery. Couldn't find it. I'll go out and follow wires to see if I can find it. Thanks

I couldn't find circut breaker close to battery. I'll go out and follow wires again and look thanks again
I recently noticed when I attempted to roll in slide outs using shore power, and I had recently took 12 volt battery out to put in boat that the slide outs would not work till I put my battery back in camper....Is this normal or do I have a issue ?
