NorWetters who have done the snowbird thing, share your knowledge
Howdy All, especially NorWet dwellers who are or have been snowbirds.
As one who suffers through the rain and gloom of the NorWet winters I am seeking advise on where to stay for 30-60 days in the SW, boondocking or reasonably priced camp grounds are what I am interested in.
I don't need swimming pools, bowling, gyms that sort of thing, water, electric and sewage would be nice but I can get by if such things are close and easy to access.
I like to ride my motorcycles on old roads and trails, old mine sites, ghost towns that sort of thing. So you folks can share some places to go and give some idea of what the cost to stay at these places is, I sure would appreciate it, thanks. One thing I suppose I should mention as it makes a difference when looking for a spot to park, my rig is 68 feet long but I can put it into some places most folks would have a hard time parking much smaller rigs.
