Spare tire size

Hello all,

My 2 axle TT came with 205 75 14 tires and wheels. This spring I'm most likely going to put on 205 75R 15 tires and wheels. The difference in tire ht is 1 inch. So that means only a 1/2 inch difference on each side of a diameter measurement. What are your opinions about keeping the 14 in spare tire and wheel?

Thanks,

Dale

You should be fine. It is a spare. Hopefully you will never need it. If you do it will only be a short time until you get the 15" repaired.

I agree. I mean look at the freaking donut spares they used to put on cars. It will do fine to get you to the next location to get the real tire repaired. FWIW on my vehicles that full sized spares I used to rotate the spare tire on to the vehicle too. Quit doing that a while back.
