We live right in centreville where r u headed? Looking for someplace close to take the pups on their maiden voyage. We had 4 for ourselves to work out kinks and boy were there kinks. Now time to get them ready. We are heading out for the winter after the holidays

We went to the North Ga mountains. It was a good trip. Found a great campground (Georgia Mountain Fair). It had better wifi than I have in my house. This was good as the weather was nasty so we had entertainment, via streaming tv. The dogs worked out well. We removed the swivel rockers at the rear and put their crates in their place. Had some issues with condensation but nothing terrible. Overall it was a success.

No. That will be a later trip. My mother lives in Hiawassee. Hopefully next time I will get to take my wife to Helen.

My brother and his missus got home today after a 3 week run across the central-east to see fall colors. I cooked them supper tonight in order to get a debrief.

What a coincidence! They raved about a little town called Helen.
Oktoberfest, I think? German town is how they described it.
Regardless, it sure made an impression on them.

We have a Coleman 263bh and love the TT but am leary of the Chinese tires after reading all posts about blowouts.

You are quite right to be concerned about the "china bombs". Make sure you have a good spare, a jack capable of lifting the RV and a 4 way lug wrench (all of which I now own). I also changed all 4 of the tires (not the spare) for new goodyear's. Enjoy your trip!

here's the webcam for helen Ga.

Downtown Helen, GA - Resort Cams

this site also has great cams other than helen.

I'd be buying a small dehumidifier asap. Humans and pets put out lots of water into the air, especially when trapped inside due to rainy weather. I keep one in my camper 9 months out of the year, Tennessee is a humid place where mold loves to grow.

Nice looking outfit. The dogs are nice, we travel with 3 1/2 Chihuahuas who love to camp, especially Pebbles the 1/2 er.
Helen is a neat place and the whole area has great scenic views. Good Luck and Happy Camping
