I am in the process of upgrading my TV. This past year, I used an F-150 to pull my toyhauler. I'm expecting to have a new truck in my driveway by Thanksgiving. I'm buying a 2014 Ram 3500 with the CTD and a 6'4" bed. I know this is way more truck than I need for the toyhauler, but we'd like to move up to a fiver in 2 or 3 years (also will be a toyhauler).

Well, there is a new 2014 RAM 3500 SRW with CTD in my drive way. I can't wait to tow with it.

That's why I got a bigger tow vehicle. Planning on trading my current rig for a larger one with a full bath whenever I can afford it.

Well, ok... at least a full size shower/tub setup, instead of the corner-closet type I have now.

While it's ok for shorter trips... it gets a little old after 2 weeks or so.

That was one of the reasons we picked the V3605

You will love towing with the Ram 3500 SRW! The Cummins pulls like a champ!

Very Nice!

I'm looking forward to hitching up and giving my Ram a workout.

I used to tow a Weekend Warrior FS2300 with my 04 Ram Hemi 1500. It was fine on the flats but didn't have the torque to accelerate up hills when people cut me off and caused me to reduce speed. I ended up going diesel and never looked back. Its fun passing people on hills when I am towing a 38' 5'r with an F350. Almost as fun as smoking unsuspecting cars with the hemi, but not quite

Upgtade

Pull my v3005 with 12 Dodge Ram 2500 with air bags. Just installed heavier spring pack increases pay load by 8 to 900 lbs. last two tows had 5lbs in air bags and wow worked great. Before I would have 60 lbs in bags and the back end lost compliancy. All set!!

Little Truck

I have taken one trip with this setup, it pulls ok, more power would be nice. Am able to do the speed limit, 65 is about where it pulls the best, get 13 mpg. Need more room for the dogs, we live in TN so there is no flat ground. I think we will purchase a new tow vehicle this summer.

Think you are doing well. Ranger isn't exactly a big and powerful truck

Yeah, you are maxed out on the towing capacity, especially down here. I pull mine with a V-8, but am seriously considering the 2015 Colorado. I use my truck for work, so I drive a lot of miles, but don't haul any weight. That new Colorado has a full frame and will tow 7000lbs with the V-6, and supposedly gets 25 hwy unloaded. I wonder how you're camper is lighter than mine , but 2 feet longer?

This model has a smaller slide out, we looked at a shorter model with a bigger slide out it was heavier.
