Snake, Your Truck and Camper look great, you will learn what works for you and your RV, Adding Air bags and stiffer shocks to your truck may help, and the main thing don't overload the camper, we all have!!….Good luck and enjoy

Try these for your F-150. FR1504E – Rear Axle SES Suspension Upgrade – Timbren Industries Inc. Suspension Products E-trailer.com carries them for a little over $200 and they are easy to install. I have Timbrens on my F-250 and they work great.

Thanks JeffWelsh!

Sounds like a great idea and I will definitely try them out if I find that fine-tuning my load and WDH isn't sufficient. I'm almost convinced that I would have less mushyness if I actually let a little more weight sit on the rear of the truck. I say that because when it is empty and sitting in its OEM stance, the first couple of inches of rear travel are hardly even dampened. As it squats a couple of inches it seems to become progressively stiffer. (Kind of the nature of leaf spring suspension)

My theory is that while I was bragging about the visual stance that the WDH made possible, it MIGHT be that it would be better if I transferred a bit less to the front. Or put another way, allow a more natural loaded squat to take up some of that initial travel.

Also, these new lighter F150's do not have the same choice of high-end aftermarket shocks for whatever reason. (They all say they are still in development for proper valving) Bilstein 5100's are still not available, nor are the Rancho 9000 adjustable. However, I have a brand new set of Rancho 9000's for my 2012 F150 still in the box and I am considering throwing them on the 2016 and check them out. Theory is that since the 2016 is the lighter truck, it would just mean the range of adjustments would present a different "range" on the lighter truck? Might be ideal for running it under load.

It's all moot though until I load the RV with a realistic traveling load and get the WDH tweaked to see how it feels adjusting it in both directions. I need the experience to become intimate with how it feeeels as I change it in both directions. I actually find it very interesting and worth every minute of time invested.

I have ridden motorcycles for 45 years and getting the suspension just the way I want it is a well known ritual every time a bike is added to the barn. So there is some similarity in my brain.

As for "how" I tow.......with the hammer down and the 5" exhaust screaming.
