Leaving hitch attached to king blog

Hi I have a 2013 Voltage 3800 ,can I leave my 5th wheel hitch attached to my kingpin. I need to be able to free up my truck box to haul dog crates and have read that people leave their hitch attached to their kingpin .Any one have any opinions on this ?

I would think the frame would easily support the weight just watch your head whenever you walk by.

Remounting may also prove to have some interesting twists like releasing the mount from the kingpin. Just think through all the differences you might encounter.

I did it with my pull rite hitch all the time. You just have to raise it really high and I used a strap on the back side of the hitch.

It can be done but nothing I have ever done. Way to many problems it would create.
