Equalizer Hitch Set-up

Ok, picked up our Kodiak 292 Toy hauler from the dealer two weeks ago. Pulling it home the truck did very well with little sway. Loaded up the two harleys on etrack and Condor chocks. Set the garage up for a third smaller bike as well.

With two bike I do notice that something isn't right, its very tail heavy.

Qustion: Is there a good guide to help me understand how to set up the hitch?????

Greg

You need the weigh your rig when it is loaded and hooked up to your TV.

The idea is to get the weight of axles on the camper equalized and to transfer weight from the rear axel to the front axel on the TV.

You may have to go through this process a few times to find the right set up for your rig, once you have the set up it is usually good until you make any major changes in how you pack your camper.
