What is the towing weight of that TT? Just for peace of mind and comfort, I would consider getting an anti-sway setup. You are correct in the opinions you have heard as to the Equalizer and Reese.
The Equalizer is just a steel bar that attaches to the side of the trailer and the hitch and uses a brake pad that you screw down hard onto that metal bar. It's what I have on my 1/2 ton towing 9,000 pounds, and I'd say it works OK. Crosswinds have only very occasionally been a problem in over 17,000 miles of towing all over the US and Canada.
The Reese is very much more expensive and uses anti-sway on both sides of the trailer through a more complicated cam setup that generates force on one side when force is being generated on the other. I've heard excellent things about the Reese --- but again, for the price it should work well.
With yours being a 3/4 ton, I'd think that the Equalizer should work. If you want the best though, it's hard to beat the Reese.
