Air bags vs Helper springs

I have a 2007 Toyota Tacoma Prerunner with the towing package and the max towing capacity is 6500 lbs. We just bought an Aerolite 2520RKSL with a dry weight of 5160. With the WD hitch I've gotten it sit pretty much level (the front is the same height as without a trailer, the rear sags a little). I know that I'm pushing it with this set up and it does not like any wind at all. I'm thinking about adding either Air Lift air bags or Hellwig helper springs. I was wondering what peoples' experiences with either of these aids is and which they would recommend. I know I need to get a bigger truck but that is out of the question for a few years.

I put the air lift on my f150, for mine was a bolt on install (did it myself). I run 5 pounds when not hooked up to TT. Find the model that fits your truck and do a google search to check pricing. Saved a bunch.

This is where I got my set. Good customer service. They followed up on the order to make sure everything was fine. 2015-2016 Ford F-150 1/2 Ton Pickup 2WD 4WD - Ride Control Air Helper Springs [REAR] [59570] | $225.71 | SD Truck Springs | Leaf Springs, Helper Springs and Suspension Parts
