What TV to get?

Hi,
I am looking for a TV to install in my Classic 300. I have found the wall mount to use and have a location picked out, but now I need to find the right TV. My preference, although I am open to ideas, is a 12v smart TV. I boondock a bit and would like to be able to use the TV off the house batteries. I know an inverter is an option, but it is just one more thing to mess with. I also would like a smart TV so I can stream stuff. 99% of what my family watches is Netflix, Amazon Prime etc. My work provides me with a cell and unlimited data, so I can use it. I would prefer not to have to add a Roku. I would like it built in. My home TV has all the apps built in or I can cast it from my phone. What are y’all using?

I have a Samsung 4k which upconverts everything to close to 4k. it also has ALL of the streaming services built in. it's NOT a 12v system and you would need to use an inverter.

I will need to look at the power consumption of different TVs. I have a small 100w inverter, but I don’t know if it run a small TV. I also know you lose some efficiency with an inverter.

Probably gonna mount it here with this mount.

the new LED tv's consume a surprisingly low amount of power. What size are you looking for?

The mounting wall is 21” from edge to edge. The TV could stick out past it some, just not to the point of banging into it when you walk up and down the hallway. I will have to look at dimensions.

Maybe something like this. It is 28” wide. Any bigger size and it would stick out too much. It is LED and says it weighs 8.6lbs. Doesn’t say power consumption, but I am sure I could find it somewhere.

I would definitely NOT get that one. They have some very nice UHD sets now for less than $300.00 that has ALL the things you are looking for.

Might want to look at the Jensen line as they are RV tv's. Ours is 5 years old and still work well. Also they are 12V and 110.

I picked up (2) 32" Vizio Smart TV's at Costco for $164.00 each. Hoping to install them next weekend. I am installing each of them opposite each other in the center console. One is in the living area and the other side is the bedroom.

will do my friend. I am planning on mounting the living area one first and drill straight through since the bedroom wall is wide open that way I know the living room one is positioned accuratly as the bedroom area one is less important on the placement as it will be centered automatically. I am getting bolts and nuts to again sandwich them on the wall that devides the two areas. The brackets themelves will provide much needed support as well by sandwiching the wall itself.

I think that is the same TV I ended up with. So far it has worked great. Mounted well, nice and light and small enough power consumption that I have run it off my house batteries with an inverter with no issues.
