Spending the first night in the rig since I received & installed these, so I can finally give a report.
Install was pretty simple & easy... although you MUST have access to BOTH sides of the panel you plan on mounting these things, unless you want to try modifying them. They provide a template for you to tape to your mounting area... You drill the holes... and then you insert the provided screws into the holes from the back side, which then screw into the rotating fan base.
Took me all of about 10 minutes per fan, and most of that was prep work.
I mounted one above the head of my bed (I'm one who likes a fan at night), and another in. Y LR. I would have liked to installed another one above my TV seats in my LR slide out...but doing so would require me to remove a large panel for access, and I'm not sure I wanna do that. I was hoping I could mount it by simply sung self-tapping wood screws... but the design of the rotating fan base doesn't allow that. That's why I stated that you need access to both dude of your mounting area.
The fans have a 2-speed switch, and work ok... but I wish they were a little stronger. I have a similar size table-top fan that is almost twice as strong on the high setting. Oh well... guess it's a trade-off: fan strength vs. space-saving.
All in all, not bad little units.
