Interior decorating

The wife wants to hang some pictures in the bedroom. Who has done it and what did you use to survive travelling. Michigan roads really SUCK...

I use different methods depending on the weight of the piece. Have used Velcro with sticky backs for many years with good luck on lighter items. It can be peeled off the wall without damage when it's time to "redecorate", a difficult task with plain double stick tape. I had to use small brackets with the heavier painting, and then there's the "fish".

Agreed! Command strips for pictures and their hooks come in handy for other stuff.

I,ve seen the hooks, but didn't know they made ones for sticking pictures up. That would make things much easier for the next addition to the fish wall.

It's like Velcro on steroids and the sticky back is the Command brand pull tab to release.

Command strips FTW!

We use them for just about everything but walking the dog...

I wonder if they would have held up the big horse painting above the door? That thing is pretty heavy. Definitely getting some of those, may re-do some of the "fish"
