Denali RSK29 Kitchen Counter Separation

Our kitchen counter started to separate from the wall. What I have determined is the wall flexed out. From the left side of the counter to the right side of the sink tapers from about 1/4 inch gap to nothing. The counter is still firmly anchored to the floor. We have made a couple of trips since this happened. There has been no further movement-- the caulking seal is stretched, but intact.

Has anybody else seen this, and if so, how did you manage to fix it? What is the best method to remove the OEM's caulking, which seems impermeable to me.

Yes, it happened in my Airstream, the cause was a screw missing stud and just going through the aluminum wall panel.

Hitting the stud fixed the problem.
