Crappy drawer slide sockets
We were getting the TT ready for the season..the wife opened a drawer but wouldn't close...so she removed the drawer and the left rear socket was broken..I checked the other 3 drawers and 2 had broken left rear sockets..see pics. Went to Home Depot and bought and installed residential sockets...all good ..I think.
Noticed the front clip was broke as well...screw loose ( pls no comment ) and had to attach the loose wire....we bought the TT new in 2009 and it hasn't been abused.
To others would suggest u check the drawer sockets. Hopefully I can upload the pics.

Coops,
I too, had an issue with the plastic rail guides in a K-Z 5er. I finally had to realign them.
Nice job.......I'm so worn out by how much you did that I'm gonna have an alcoholic beverage, too.
Cheers!!!

Hey Coops,
Looks like you got all your screws tightened ;^).
Hows the weather in the Kamloops area? Are you going camping on May Long?
Cheers

Daryl B.....weather is very nice...will be mowing the lawn today, flowers in bloom. Typically early spring Kamloops weather....In talking to our friends in PG ....Kamloops weather is about 4 to 6 week ahead of you folks. De winterized the irrigation system.
First camping trip is this Wednesday 1 May about 30 min west of us at Juniper Beach...we will be heading north to Clearwater for the long weekend.
Ya it was good to tighten things up...

I can take pics of the snow still on our lawn...but that would be depressing!
I can say this is the first time we have ever had our rig out of storage in April - we took it out with the ground still frozen.... but we had some mods we wanted to get done before camping season!!!

Daryl B...Purden Lake Prov. Park was a regular camping spot for us...very nice spot. The water in the lake may be cold..
Travel safely.

Hello! I am brand new to the forum. I have the same drawer problems with my Kodiak 241RBSL. How do you remove the drawer from the slides/guides?
Thanks.
Looking forward to all the chat and good info.

Welcome Daupp....glad you joined the forum...
This is how I removed the drawer...I emptied the drawer...so there is no weight. With the drawer extened l lifted the the drawer and pulled it out.....you may have to fiddle with it but it should come out.
Hope this helps.

If you have the full extension drawers, like we do, pull the drawer all the way out. Look at where the 2 slides (one on each side) go into each other. There will be a small black lock lever on each slide in the middle of the rail. Lift the lever up on one side and push it down on the other and pull the drawer out, all at the same time. You will have to do the same when putting the rails back together.
Dave.

Thank you
I am pretty sure I have that style of drawer. They pull ALL the way out, even beyond he back of the drawer. Those releases must be mighty small, because they were not obvious to me. I will check tonight and let you know of my (degree of) success.
Thanks for the tip!
