Re: Cabinets

Have you decided on which brand and size to buy?
If you are experienced with camping, I am sure you know that weight and the total number of utensils is important.......most take more than they need.

I'm in the same boat I think, We bought our trailer and it's sitting on the dealer lot 100 miles from here and we can't accessorize it because we have no idea of the dimensions of any of the cabinets or storage compartments. Looks like a road trip is in order I guess, lucky for me it's part of my territory for work and I travel there monthly so I can stop in next trip.

Cheers

Your signature says "2012 - 212RBSL, w FC Package". What is the FC Package?

Re: Cabinets

The FC package stands for First Class, it is an option that includes:
Leather Furniture (Sofa, chairs, dinette seats)
Power Stabilizer Jacks
Power Tongue Jack
14" Aluminum Rims - 1st Class Pkg.
Exterior Marine Receiver w/USB & MP3 Hook up
Keyless Touch Pad Entry
Frameless Windows
Upgraded Platinum Gray Glass

After looking for the answer to your question, I'm going to change my signature to be more informative.

Cheers

Re: Cabinets

Very nice! Did Dutchmen do away with the white exterior on all new models? Our 2012 is white, but now I see that the new ones are kind of tan...

It looks tan in the picture, but they are actually a gray color leaning towards blue with black trim.

Re: Cabinets

FlyingDutchmen,
Have you figured out what Pots and Pans you will be using in your trailer? We started looking at the stacking kind with the removable handles but we haven't found anything that "She who must be obeyed" ;-hap is happy with yet.
It's kind of amazing we've had 5 trailers and 2 campers and never had to purchase new stuff for the trailer until we pull the trigger on a new trailer and then the whole game seems to change. I'm starting to think it's because the trailer is still sitting on the dealer lot and I haven't been able to just go sit and get comfortable in it (too much time surfing the net is also a contributing factor).

Re: Cabinets

Not decided on Pots & Pans yet but Karen has been out & bought all kinds of things for the Kitchen. (knives,Forks & a few plastic Plates, cooking utensils). All Red. ( very nice ). Non slip Matt for the Shower. Think we might make another trip to the Dealer & take some measurments & measure the Windows for some Night Shades.

Re: Cabinets

It didn't seem like cabinet space was the limiting factor as much as the size of the stove and oven were for us. We have a couple pots that fit fine in the cabinet but take up the whole stove.

Have fun!
